Examine the Geometry Scene 1 display in the Graphics window. Initially all parts of the mesh are shown as solid, colored surfaces.
The object (a boundary in the illustration below) is highlighted and a label appears with the name of the object selected.

In the thermalInsulator window, the node that corresponds to this object is also highlighted.

Similarly, if a different boundary node is selected in the thermalInsulator window, the surface corresponding to that boundary will be highlighted in the Graphics window.
Use the mouse features to adjust the view approximately as shown below.

Details on how to edit properties are described in a separate section.
The Select Objects dialog will appear.

This dialog contains a list of the parts to be displayed. By default, all boundary surfaces will be displayed. The << and >> buttons are used to deselect and select all the eligible parts. Clicking on a single part, then using the < or > button, as appropriate, is a way of selecting or deselecting single entities.
