Generating the PPDF Table
First, we will change the number of heat loss ratio points defined in the table:
- Select the PPDF Equilibrium Table node.

- In the Properties window, make sure that the Number of heat loss ratio points equals
1.
- Change the Pressure of the mixture property to
101325 Pa.
Now define the fuel and oxidizer streams:
A new node named C3H8 will appear beneath the Fuel Stream > Components node.
- Select this node and change its Mass Fraction property to
1.0.
- Select the Fluid Stream Manager > Oxidizer Stream node and change the Temperature of the stream property to
293 K.
- Right-click on the Oxidizer Stream > Components node and select .

- Right-click on the Oxidizer Stream > Components node and select .
Two new nodes named O2 and N2 should now appear under the Oxidizer Stream > Components node.
- Select the Oxidizer Stream > Components > O2 node and change its Mass Fraction property to
0.233.
- Select the Oxidizer Stream > Components > N2 node and change its Mass Fraction property to
0.767.
The PPDF Equilibrium table set-up is now complete. To construct the table:
- Right-click the PPDF Equilibrium Table node and select .

The table creation will take a few minutes. Once this is complete, save the simulation and proceed to Setting Initial Conditions.
