Visualizing the Results
- Activate the Heat Transfer 1 Monitor Plot display to view the heat transfer variation at the solid-fluid interface as the flow develops.
At the end of the calculation it should look as shown below.
To zoom in on the relevant part of the graph:
- Click the Zoom button at the top of the plot and draw a box on the graph enclosing the area 0 < x < 1300, 20 < y < 60.
The graph should now appear as shown below.
Note that the heat flux value across the solid-fluid interface has increased from ~32 to ~38 as a result of the radiation effect.
- Click on the tab of the Scalar Scene 1 display to see the temperature and velocity vector results for the converged solution.

Note that the temperature profile differs only slightly from the result obtained without including radiation, with the greatest differences occurring near the boundaries of the fluid region, as would be expected.
