Visualizing the Results
- Activate the Heat Transfer 1 Monitor Plot display to view the heat transfer variation at the solid-fluid interface as the flow develops.
At the end of the calculation it should look as shown below.
- Click on the tab for the Scalar Scene 1 display to see the temperature and velocity vector results for the converged solution.
By default, cell values are shown. To make the display smoother:
- Select the Scenes > Scalar Scene 1 > Displayers > Scalar 1 node.
- In the Properties window, set the Contour Style property to
().
The contours of the scalar display now appear smooth.
Additionally, the temperature solution of each region can be viewed by selecting the appropriate part in the Select Objects dialog.
