Setting Solver Parameters and Stopping Criteria

To ensure that a reasonable solution is obtained, we will alter some of the solver parameters.

Select the Solvers > Segregated Flow > Velocity node

In the Properties window, change the Under-Relaxation Factor to 0.5

Similarly, change the Pressure Under-Relaxation Factor to 0.2

Select the Pressure > AMG Linear Solver node

In the Properties window, change the Convergence Tolerance to 0.05

The simulation will run for 600 iterations. This number can be specified using a stopping criterion:

Select the Stopping Criteria > Maximum Steps node

Change the Maximum Steps property to 600 in the Properties window

Save the simulation
