Setting Solver Parameters

The simulation is to restart from the steady-state result obtained in the Dilution Pipe (Steady Flow) Tutorial and then run for 2 seconds of physical time. A time-step of 0.025 seconds will be used, so the analysis will require 80 steps.

To set the time-step:

Select the Solvers > Implicit Unsteady node.

In the Properties window, change the Time-Step property to 0.025 s.

To specify the run time:

Select the Stopping Criteria > Maximum Physical Time node.

In the Properties window, change the Max Physical Time property to 2.0.

Save the simulation.
