Setting up the Unsteady Flow Model

Most of the models have already been selected in the Dilution Pipe (Steady Flow) Tutorial and so do not need to be specified again. The analysis type, however, must be changed to unsteady.

Open the Continua node, right-click on the Dilution Pipe node and select item Select models...

In the Physics Model Selection dialog:

Deselect the Steady option in the Enabled Physics models group box on the right-hand side.

The Time group box will reappear on the left-hand side.

Select the Implicit Unsteady option.

The dialog should look as shown below when you are done.

Click Close.

Save the simulation by clicking on the

(Save) button.
