Visualizing the Geometry
In the geometry scene created during mesh import, the internal mesh features are not visible. To examine these:
- Select the Scenes > Geometry Scene 1 > Displayers > Geometry 1 > Parts node.

- In the Properties window, click on the Parts property to open the Select Objects dialog.
- In this dialog, click on in the Selected list and use the single left-facing arrow to deselect it.

- Click Close
- Rotate the Geometry Scene 1 display through approximately 180o so that the mesh is displayed in a way that allows you to see both the inner pipe and the orifice plate.
These form part of the same boundary as the external wall. This is acceptable in this case because we are not modeling heat transfer through them. If it was necessary to do so, the mesh would have needed to be split into separate regions with baffle interfaces representing the internal features instead of wall boundaries.
