Now that the flow field has become established and the solution is converging well, the Courant number can be further increased.

Select the Solvers > Coupled Implicit node.

Set the Courant Number property to 50.

Select the Stopping Criteria > Maximum Steps node.

Set the Maximum Steps property to 200.

This will instruct STAR-CCM+ to iterate for a further 100 steps in addition to those already performed.

Click the

(Run) button to continue running the simulation.

Once the run is finished, save the simulation.
