The trimmed cell mesher can be used instead of the polyhedral mesher to generate an extremely high quality hexahedral based mesh for the original control valve geometry. An improved distribution in cells will also be achieved by using the trimmer when compared to the polyhedral mesher, resulting in a lower cell count in this instance.
Complete the tutorial steps up to and including the surface remeshing and polyhedral mesh generation before continuing with the tutorial below in order to generate a trimmed cell mesh. If you saved a simulation file at this step then resume the model by using the File>Open menu option.
