This section will show you how to examine velocity vectors in the model. In this example, you will set up vectors in a reflected symmetry plane around a solid-colored blunt body.
First, create a new scene by right-clicking on the Scenes node. Select New Scene > Vector.

A new Vector Scene 1 display will appear.

We don't need the outlines that the Outline part displayer provides by default, so we will reuse that displayer to show the blunt body as a solid object.
In the object tree, open the Vector Scene 1 node in the Scenes node. Then open the Displayers node and the Outline node, and select the Parts node.

In the Properties window, click on the right half of the Parts property. The Select Objects dialog will appear.

Remove all parts other than subdomain-1:Inner_wall. Click Close.
Next, select the Outline node in the Displayers node.

Make the following changes to the Outline displayer properties:
Open the Vector 1 node and select the Parts node.

In the Properties window, select subdomain-1:Symmetry_plane1 for the part.
Select the Vector 1 node.

Set the Transform expert property to Symmetry_plane2 1.
These settings will show a solid blunt body with the velocity vectors.

It is possible to make the arrows shorter to see the vectors more clearly. In the Vector 1 node, select the Relative Length node.

In the Properties window, change Glyph Length (%) to 2.0.

The arrows now appear shorter.

Save the simulation.
