A STAR-CCM+ scene provides a three-dimensional view of all or part of all the boundary and part objects in the simulation. A scene contains a wide array of components for you to customize an image or animation, including:
The main object in a scene is the displayer. A displayer lets you select the parts to be displayed, and define the data to be displayed on those parts. You can include multiple displayers in a scene to produce a more sophisticated image, for example velocity vectors over a shaded three-dimensional wing.
You can create as many scenes as you need, although the more scenes you have active, the slower the simulation may run depending on the size of the problem and the power of the computers being used.
