In this section you will import a three-dimensional polyhedral mesh that was set up for this analysis. The mesh was saved using the .ccm extension.
Make sure that the Star 1 window is active, and select File > Import... from the top menus.
In the Open dialog, navigate to the doc/tutorials/bluntBody subdirectory of your STAR-CCM+ installation directory.
Select the bluntBody.ccm file and click on the Open button to start the import.
Click OK in response to the Import Mesh Options dialog.
STAR-CCM+ will provide feedback on the import process in the Output window, which will take a few seconds. A new region with a default name of subdomain-1 will be created under the Regions node. The new region can be renamed.
