Defining a Sphere

The spherical volume shape is defined by a radius and the cartesian XYZ center point of the sphere. This volume shape is represented by a node in the STAR-CCM+ object tree, has its own properties and shares a pop-up menu with other types of volume shapes.

The sphere volume shape can be created either manually or graphically using the point tool. An example is shown below:
