Defining a Cylinder

The cylinder volume shape is defined by a radius and the cartesian XYZ center points of the two cylindrical ends. The center axis of the cylinder does not need to be aligned to the XYZ global system. This volume shape is represented by a node in the STAR-CCM+ object tree, has its own properties and shares a pop-up menu with other types of volume shapes.

The cylinder volume shape can be created either manually or graphically using the point tool. An example is shown below:
