What Is a Database Phase?

A database phase node is a manager containing all nodes of materials of the same phase, namely gas, liquid or solid.

These nodes reflect the fact that, in the database file, each material is assigned to a phase represented by one of the following indicators: L (Liquid), V (Vapor, or gas) or S (Solid).

The nodes of these materials have subnodes representing types of properties, such as dynamic viscosity and molecular weight. The properties nodes in turn contain objects that represent property values. One such object is Thermodynamic Polynomial Data.
