This section describes how to select a turbulence model without using the automatic selection of recommended models feature. This means that neither the specific turbulence model nor the wall treatment will be selected automatically.
To select a turbulence model, first select the viscous regime. In the Model Selection dialog, make sure that the Auto-select recommended physics models checkbox is cleared. Then, in the Turbulence group box, select the radio button corresponding to the appropriate turbulence method. The availability of methods depends partly on your selection of a time model.

In the turbulence group box that reflects your selection (in this example Reynolds-Averaged Turbulence), select one of the radio buttons corresponding to the required family of turbulence models.

In this example K-Epsilon Turbulence is selected. The result is shown below, where the seven available K-Epsilon models are offered as choices in the K-Epsilon Turbulence group box.
