To display the surface mesh without seeing the shaded surfaces of the discretized geometry, you can switch off the surfaces. First, select the geometry displayer in the scene of interest.
Then deactivate the Surface property as shown below, and then activate the Mesh property by ticking the checkbox.
This will display the surface mesh as shown below. In the following illustration only the mesh from one part is being displayed; the other parts have been hidden.
