Continuum Level Settings

Continuum level settings are global numerical values that are unique to that continuum and may be used by one or more of the models within the continuum. The values are applied to all regions that are associated with that continuum. In the absence of other settings (made on a region- or boundary-wise basis), the characteristics of the mesh will be solely determined from the reference values supplied for the continuum. For the selected meshing models, the reference values can be set by opening the Reference Values node in the object tree.

The list of reference values will vary according the meshing models selected for the mesh continuum. The table below shows which reference values are activated by which meshing model.
