Porosity

This interface value is added when the interface type is specified as porous baffle.

Properties

Alpha

The value of the coefficient in the pressure drop formulation.

     

Beta

The value of the coefficient in the pressure drop formulation.

     

Porosity

The factor , used in calculating heat transfer and optionally viscous shear. If the porous baffle is thought of as a perforated surface, then may be interpreted as the ratio of the area of the holes to the area of the surface.
