Starting remote servers requires you to have remote shell access to the remote server machine without password prompting and the starccm+ command must be available on each of the remote machines. This can easily be checked using
rsh "host" which starccm+
If a permission problem is encountered, you may have to add entries into their $HOME/.rhosts file.
If remote shell permission problems persist after ensuring correct entries in the $HOME/.rhosts file you should ensure that your user name has fewer than twelve characters.
If problems continue assistance should be sought from the network administrator.
