Reference geometry entities cannot be painted from one feature to another. For example, an end condition of Up To Surface that references a surface, cannot be painted.
Feature Paint does not support sheet metal features. However, you can paint the color and optical properties (such as texture, transparency, and so on) for sheet metal features.
