Covering objects can be added to bundle segments in the harness drawing. Add coverings to one segment at a time. The length of the segment is used to calculate the amount of covering for the Harness Bill of Materials. Each covering item you add is given a unique name to identify it for highlighting or editing.
Requirements:
Covering objects must exist in the harness library.
If you want the segment to change to a specific color when you add a covering, the covering library object must have a library property named color (not case-sensitive) and a valid value. Available covering color values are black, gray, red, yellow, brown, gold, orange, and blue (not case-sensitive). If no color property exists for the covering library object, the bundle segment color is set to the default color. (The default color is set in Tools, Options, System Options, Colors for Sketch, Under Defined.)
If you want to change the line style of the segment, the covering library object must have a library property named linestyle. Available linestyle values are chain, chainthick, and stitch. If no linestyle property exists for the covering library object, the bundle segment line style is set to the default (continuous).
See Creating a Harness Library.
