While editing an existing
route, by clicking Add Covering
(Routing Tools toolbar).
You can add coverings to any route. Coverings represent material such as insulation or split sleeves placed on routed items to protect them. You can:
Add the covering during or after route creation.
Display the covering in assemblies, drawings views, and Bills of Materials.
For a covering material to be available for selection, you must first define it in the Materials Editor PropertyManager or in an XML file that you create.
To add a covering to a route:
Specify the covering under Covering in the Route Properties PropertyManager, either:
While creating the route.

While editing an existing
route, by clicking Add Covering
(Routing Tools toolbar).
To add a covering to only a portion of a
route, use Split
Route to split the route.
