To unlink a BOM
from a drawing view, select None
in the BOM list.The Drawing View Properties dialog box provides information about the drawing view and its associated model.
To view and edit the Drawing View Properties:
Right-click in a drawing view and select Properties.

From a drawing view PropertyManager, click More Properties.
Edit the following properties on the View Properties tab, or edit items on the Section Scope, Show Hidden Edges or Hide/Show Components tabs, and click OK.
View information. Displays the Name and Type of the view (read-only).
Model information. The name of the model and the path of the referenced document are displayed (read-only). Model information is not available for Detached views when the model is not loaded.
Configuration information. Select one of the following:
Use model’s "in-use" or last saved configuration.

Use named configuration. To use a configuration that you previously created and named, select the configuration from the list.
Show in exploded state. If the view contains an assembly with an exploded view defined, select this check box to display the exploded view.
Display State (For assemblies only). Select a display state of the assembly to place in the drawing.
Bill of Materials (BOM). Keep linked to BOM. Overrides the automatic linking of a BOM to a drawing view. As long as the BOM exists and Keep linked to BOM is selected, the SolidWorks software uses the selected BOM to assign balloon numbers. If you attach a balloon to a component that is not in the BOM configuration, the balloon appears with an asterisk (*).
To unlink a BOM
from a drawing view, select None
in the BOM list.
Show Envelope (For assemblies only). Displays assembly envelope components in the drawing view.
Align breaks with parent. If the view is a Broken View that was created from another broken view, select this check box to align the break gaps in the two views.
Display sheet metal bend notes. Displays bend notes in drawing views that contain flat patterns of sheet metal parts.
Depending on the type of changes you have
made, it may be necessary to click Update
