Lock Dimensions

Use Smart Dimension to select:

Use the pointer to control positioning.

	Pointer is unlocked. Change the measurement and the position of the dimension.
	Pointer is locked. Measurement is locked; dimension position is available.

To lock a dimension:

In an open sketch, click Smart Dimension (Dimensions/Relations toolbar) or Tools, Dimensions, Smart.
Click the items to dimension.
Move the pointer until the preview indicates the dimension type you want.
Right-click to lock the dimension type.
Move the pointer around until the dimension is correctly located.
Click to place the dimension.
Set the value in the Modify box and click .
