Exporting Multibody Documents

When you export a multibody part document as another file type, you have the option to export selected solid bodies or all solid bodies.

To export a multibody part document:

1. With a multibody part document open, select at least one face or solid body in the graphics area, or one solid body from the Solid Bodies folder in the FeatureManager design tree, and click Save As.

   The Save As dialog box appears.

2. Set the Save as type to the desired file type and click Save.

   The Export dialog box appears.

   NOTE: If you select a solid body, the Selected face(s) option in the Export dialog box is unavailable.

3. Click one of the following:

• Selected face(s). Exports only the selected faces.

• Selected bodies. Exports only the selected bodies.

• All bodies. Exports all solid bodies.

4. Click OK to export the multibody part document.
