Arrows Options

You can set display options for arrows. The default options vary depending on the drafting standard specified in Tools, Options, Document Properties, Detailing.

To set the options for displaying arrows:

1. Click Tools, Options, Document Properties, Arrows.

2. Specify the options described below, then click OK.

Size

Specify the Height and Width of arrowheads, and the Length of the complete arrows, for leaders on dimensions, notes, and other annotations.

Scale with dimension height. Sets the arrow head size for dimensions to scale automatically to the dimension height, if the arrows do not follow the document font. The arrow head size also applies to notes, balloons, geometric tolerance symbols, and weld symbols.

Section/View size

Specify the Height and Width of arrowheads, and the Length of arrows, for section view lines and on view arrows (in auxiliary views, for example).

Scale with section view arrow letter height. Sets the arrow head size for section views to scale automatically to the section view letter height, if the arrows do not follow the document font.

Attachments

Specify the arrowhead styles to be used depending on where the leader is attached.

Foreshortened diameter

Specify the display of foreshortened diameters.

The zigzag option is available in ANSI standard only.
