Select the sketch entities (in the Front sketch at the lower left) as the basis for the base extrusion.
Hold Ctrl and select a starting point (upper left vertex in the Top sketch).
Click in the graphics area to establish the direction of the extrusion.
In the Base-Extrude
PropertyManager, click Depth 
and select the line shown to specify the depth of the extrusion.
