To edit a configuration:
Activate the desired configuration.
Change to the FeatureManager view, then:
In a part document, change the suppression state of features, modify dimensions, and so on, as needed.
In an assembly document, change the suppression state or visibility of components, and so on, as needed.
Be sure to specify This Configuration, All
Configurations,
or Specified
Configurations
in PropertyManagers and dialog boxes, to apply changes to only the configurations
you want to change.

Properties PropertyManager, where you can specify what happens
to a configuration when you add new items to other configurations.
To edit the configuration properties:
In the ConfigurationManager
, right-click the configuration
name, and select Properties.
The Configuration Properties PropertyManager appears.
Edit the name, description, or comments as desired.
Click Custom Properties to add or modify custom properties for the configuration.

To suppress or hide features or components:
Select the features or components to suppress or hide (or to unsuppress or show).
Click Edit and choose from the following menu items:
In parts:
Suppress
Unsuppress
Unsuppress with Dependents
In assemblies:
Hide
Show
Show with Dependents
Suppress
Unsuppress
Unsuppress with Dependents
Each menu item has the following choices:
If you selected Specified Configurations, a dialog box appears with a list of configurations and buttons to Select All and Reset Selection. Select configurations in the list and click OK.
