The Explode PropertyManager appears when you create or edit exploded views of assemblies. Create and edit explode steps and set options as described below.
Displays existing explode steps:
Explode Step<n>. One or more selected components exploded to a single position.
Chain<n>. A stack of two or more selected components exploded along an axis using Auto-space components after drag.
Component(s)
of the explode step
. Displays components selected
for the current explode step.
Explode direction.
Displays the direction selected for the current explode step. Click Reverse direction
if
necessary.
Explode distance
. Displays the distance to move the component for the
current explode step.
Apply. Click to preview changes to explode steps.
Done. Click to complete new or changed explode steps.
Auto-space components after drag. Automatically spaces a group of components equally along an axis.
Adjust the spacing
between chain components
. Adjusts the distance
between components placed by Auto-space
components after drag.
Select sub-assembly's parts. When selected, enables you to select individual components of a sub-assembly. When cleared, enables you to select an entire sub-assembly.
Re-use Sub-assembly Explode. Uses explode steps that you defined previously in a selected sub-assembly.
