There are various SolidWorks 3D Meeting scenarios based on the presence or absence of firewalls. These scenarios make the following assumptions:
Ports. The firewall NetMeeting ports are closed for incoming data and open for outgoing data (see your System Administrator).
Immediate meeting. For a meeting conducted in the Meet Now mode, the meeting host is using a valid TCPIP address to locate the meeting participant’s computer in the Place a Call dialog box.
Scheduled meeting. For a meeting conducted in the Schedule Meeting mode, the meeting host is logged onto a directory server at the scheduled time of meeting.
Firewalls configurations vary from site-to-site.
Consult your system administrator for details on how your system is configured.
If your IP address falls into one of the following ranges, it may indicate
that you are behind a firewall:
10.xxx.xxx.xxx
172.16.xxx.xxx through 172.31.xxx.xxx
192.168.xxx.xxx
