Change Route Diameter

The Change Route Diameter command now uses the PropertyManager instead of a series of dialog boxes. The route elements that are being changed highlight in the graphics area.

To change the route diameter:

  1. Open Routing\changeroute101.sldasm.
  2. Turn on the Piping and Routing Tools toolbars by clicking Piping and Routing Tools (Route toolbar).
  3. Click Edit Existing Piping Route (Piping toolbar) or Routing, Piping, Edit Existing Piping Route.
  4. Select the line segment near the flange, as shown.

  5. Click Change Route Diameter (Routing Tools toolbar) or Routing, Routing Tools, Change Route Diameter.
  6. The first section of the route, including the flange and tee, changes color, indicating that this section of the route corresponds to the items in the PropertyManager. Because you selected near the flange, the flange appears under First Fitting in the PropertyManager.

     
    In the graphics area, First Fitting is green; Second Fitting is blue.



  7. In the PropertyManager, under:
    1. Options, select:
    2. Automatically select elbows & pipes
    3. Automatically save new pipe file
    4. First Fitting, select Slip On Flange 150-NPS3.
    5. Second Fitting, select Tee Inch 3 Sch40.
  8. Click .
  9. The next section of the route highlights.

  10. Under Second Fitting select Slip On Flange 150-NPS3.
  11. Click .
  12. Under Second Fitting select Slip On Flange 150-NPS3.
  13. Click .
  14. Click OK or Yes for any messages that appear.
  15. Click Save in the Save As dialog box.
  16. The elements of the route change.
