You can check out or open .dxf and .dwg files from the PDMWorks Workgroup vault into the DWGeditor. When you select Open now in the dialog box, the DWGeditor opens with the selected document active.
The option Edit
.dxf/.dwg files using default program instead of DWGeditor in Client Options
must be cleared to open documents in the DWGeditor. If cleared, the DWGeditor
is used even if you chose the default program as the editor during SolidWorks
installation.
You can open the SolidWorks
Explorer client from the DWGeditor. In the DWGeditor, click Start PDMWorks Workgroup Client 
on the PDMWorks Workgroup toolbar.
