When you create a study, the software associates it with the active configuration. The configuration name appears next to the study name in the COSMOS AnalysisManager tree. At any time, you can only access the studies that are associated with the active configuration. Other studies are grayed out in the tree.
To associate a study with a configuration:
Click the ConfigurationManager tab
.
Create a new configuration or activate an existing one.
Click the COSMOS AnalysisManager tab
.
Create a new study.
The new study is associated with the active configuration. The name of the configuration associated with the study appears (in parentheses) next to the study name in the tree.
You cannot change the configuration of a
study. However, you can copy an existing
study to a new one with a different configuration.
To activate a configuration associated with a study:
In the COSMOS AnalysisManager tree, right-click the study icon and select Activate SW configuration.
The study and the associated configuration become active.
