The Browser Tree uses the same convention for selecting nodes in the tree as Windows Explorer. When you select a node, it is highlighted. If you select an object node or a child node, the corresponding COSMOSMotion object is highlighted on the graphics screen, as long as the mouse is placed within the confines of the browser.
The Browser Tree also supports multiple-node selection as follows:
Pressing Ctrl while selecting nodes selects all nodes that are selected. Nodes that are already highlighted are unselected.
Pressing Shift while selecting nodes selects all of the nodes between the first selected node and the last selected node.
Holding down the left-mouse button outside of a node label activates drag-select mode. Moving the mouse, while continuing to hold the left-mouse button, selects any nodes that lie within the rectangle defined by the point where the left button was first pressed and the final position of the mouse.
Only object nodes are included in multiple selection. All other node types are ignored when included as part of a multiple selection.
