COSMOSMotion allows you to graphically display the acceleration at any point on any moving part.
To create an acceleration vector:
Display the Edit Acceleration Graphic dialog box using any of the following methods:
From the Motion menu, point to Result Object and then select Acceleration.
Right-click a moving part node in the Browser, point to Add Result Object and then select Acceleration.
Right-click either the Results or Acceleration nodes in the Browser and then select Create Acceleration.
To enter the part that contains the point at which the velocity is computed, select the Select Component at which to measure Acceleration text box, and then pick one moving part from the graphics screen.
To specify the point where the velocity is computed, select the Select a point at which the Acceleration is measured text box, and then select a point from the graphics screen.
To override the global scale for acceleration vectors, select Override Global Scale, and then enter a new scale value in the Scale text box.
