You can create xy plots by right-clicking an object and selecting Plot from the right-click menu, or by dragging an object in the Browser and dropping it on the XY Plots node. Learn more about plots in the Browser.
If you use the drag-and-drop method, the following dialog box appears, listing all of the quantities for the dragged object that can be plotted.

When you create a plot using either of the methods described above, the x-axis of the plot is set to simulation time. The plot’s x-axis is shown in the browser as the first node under the plot’s node:

You can change a plot’s x-axis to show the simulation frame or another set of object values.
To change the X-axis:
Right-click the x-axis node.
Select Versus Time (to set it back to time if it is set to another value) or Versus Frame (to set the axis to show the simulation frame).
To use an object’s values as the x-axis, drag the object in the Browser and drop it on the plot’s x-axis node. The Plot Quantity Selection dialog box appears, and you can select the value for the x-axis.
