You can export your animations to VRML format for distribution on the Internet. You can then use Cosmo Player, a plugin to your Web browser, to view VRML files. To download Cosmo Player for Windows, go to http://ovrt.nist.gov/cosmo/.
Before exporting the animation, you may need to modify the animation duration for the VRML movie. The default duration is the simulation time. Cosmo Player attempts to fit the animation into the simulation time and, therefore, may skip frames. You can avoid this situation by modifying the Override Simulation Time setting in the MSC.ADAMS Options dialog box.
To export an animation to VRML:
Right-click the Motion Model node and then select Export to VRML or, from the Motion menu, point to Export Results and then select To VRML.
Select Browse.
Navigate to the location where you want to store the exported file.
Select Save.
To enter a longer duration of time for the animation, select Override Simulation Time.
Enter an animation time so the animation runs smoothly without skipping frames.
For example, for an animation with 50 frames, set the Animation Time to 10 or 15 seconds.
To have the VRML file automatically opened after exporting, select Show VRML animation after exporting file.
Select OK.
