You can export rigid body displacement, velocity, and acceleration results along with force results for motions and joints to Microsoft® Excel.

 You must have Excel 97 or greater installed on your computer.

To export results to Excel:

You must simulate your mechanism before exporting your results.

  1. Right-click the Motion Model node and select Export to Spreadsheet, or from the Motion menu, point to Export Results, and then select To Spreadsheet.

  2. Complete the dialog box as follows:

  3. Select Add 1 Curve to add the plot to the queue of curves to be plotted. You can repeat this process for all the result types you want to export.

  4. You can change the title of the plot by entering it in the Title text box.

  5. If you want to add more curves to an existing queued plot, select the plot name in the last text box in the dialog box.

  6. If you want to delete a queued curve or plot, select it and press Delete.

  7. After you have specified all the curves and plots, select OK to create the plots in Excel.
