COSMOSMotion exports your mechanism to the MSC.ADAMS simulation product for complex simulations involving flexible bodies, control systems, and user subroutines.
To export your mechanism to ADAMS/View:
From
the Motion menu, point to
File, and then select Export to MSC.ADAMS.
or
Right-click the Motion Model
branch in the Browser and then choose Export
to MSC.ADAMS.
The File Export Dialog box appears.
Select the type of data to export to MSC.ADAMS:
Save MSC.ADAMS Data set only - Only an MSC.ADAMS .adm data file is written, along with any Parasolid geometry needed for 3D contacts.
Save Command file, Dataset, Geometry, and Results - Saves a complete set of data, allowing ADAMS/View to completely recreate your model.
Save Results only - Only exports an MSC.ADAMS results file, if results exist.
