Pin - When the pin is in, selecting Apply
does not close the dialog box, except when the edited entity is a joint
derived from a mate. When the pin is out, the dialog box closes when you
select Apply. Allows you to define the load-bearing entity on any entity.
From the IntelliMotion Browser, right-click the entity node whose load-bearing entities are to be modified and select Properties. Select the FEA tab.
While creating an entity, select the FEA tab.
This capability is required to use the Export to FEA feature. FEA applications require that loads calculated by COSMOSMotion be applied over SolidWorks geometry. This tab allows you to define that geometry.
