Allows you to define the components and attachment points for a bushing. Select a tab:
Definition: Defines the bushing.
FEA: Defines the FEA properties for the bushing.
Properties: Defines the properties of the bushing.
Select first component |
Select the first component of the constraint/force. |
Select ground as the first component. |
Select second component |
Select the second component of the constraint/force. |
Select ground as the second component. |
Isotropic |
Select to have uniform translational properties. If you clear this selection, you can specify different properties in different directions. For example, a bushing mount for a suspension arm has different properties in the z-axis, than in the x-axis or y-axis. |
Stiffness |
Enter the translational stiffness coefficient. |
Damping |
Enter the translational damping coefficient. |
Force |
Enter the preload applied. |
Torsional properties |
Select to enable torsional properties of the bushings. |
