Bringing More Components into the Assembly (continued)

The FeatureManager design tree displays information about the assembly components.

  1. Examine the FeatureManager design tree.

    The prefix (-) before a component's name indicates that the position of the component is under defined. You can move and rotate these components.

  2. Click to expand each item to display the component features.

  3. To collapse the entire FeatureManager design tree in one step, right-click Assem1 at the top of the FeatureManager design tree and select Collapse Items.

  4. Practice moving and rotating the individual components:

You can also click Move Component or Rotate Component (Assembly toolbar), then drag to move or rotate components.

  1. Save the assembly as mill.sldasm. If a message prompts you to rebuild before saving, click Yes.
