Key points along the timeline help you identify the state of a component using key properties.
Place your pointer over any key point to display the key properties.
Click the Oil Pump tab.
Move the pointer over the key point for Cover<1> at 00:00:05.
The component is highlighted in the graphics area and the key properties balloon appears.

Compare the key properties with the key point at 00:00:12. Only key properties that have changed are displayed.

The Animator Options dialog box identifies the changebars and key points along the timeline, and allows you to change the default colors.
Click Animator, Options.
In the dialog box:
To identify an entity, move your pointer over the changebar.
To change a color:
Select a changebar.
In the Color palette, select a color then click OK.
Click OK to close the Animator Options dialog box.
