Hiding Components

Now combine motion with hiding Housing<1> and Cover<1>.

1. Drag the timebar to 00:00:00.

2. In the Animator FeatureManager design tree, right-click the following entities and select Component Display, Shaded with Edges .

• Housing<1>

• Cover<1>.

3. In the timeline click the 00:00:05 to place the timebar.

Why did I do this?

4. In the Animator FeatureManager design tree, press Ctrl and select the key points for Housing<1> and Cover<1>.

1. Right-click and select Copy.

2. Right-click the timebar at 00:00:05 and select Paste.

5. Click the 00:00:12 mark to place the timebar, right-click and select Paste.

6. Press Ctrl and select the two key points at 00:00:05 to define the beginning of the hide components sequence.

7. In the Animator FeatureManager design tree, right-click the following entities and select Hide :

• Housing<1>

• Cover<1>

The changebars appear along the timeline, and the Housing<1> and Cover<1> icons in the Animator FeatureManager design tree change appearance.

8. Click Play from start (SolidWorks Animator toolbar).
