Animation Wizard - Explode

Using the Animation Wizard, you can combine explode and collapse functions created through the SolidWorks application with animation elements created through SolidWorks Animator. An exploded view was previously created in the sample assembly.

A closer look at the Animation Wizard

In this section, you include component display changes with an explode sequence.

1. Select the Wizard tab.

2. In the Animator FeatureManager design tree, right-click Housing<1>, and select Component Display, Wireframe .

3. In the timeline:

1. Click the 00:00:05 mark to place the timebar.

2. Drag the Housing<1> key point to the 00:00:05 mark.

4. In the Animator FeatureManager design tree, right-click Housing<1>, and select Component Display, Shaded with Edges .

5. In the timeline, drag the timebar back to 00:00:00.
