Right-click on the field of the new profile F_Profile_T4 in the SolidCAM Manager. Select the Add Operation>Pocket commands.
The Pocket Operation dialog box will be displayed.
Click on the Define button in the Geometry section to select the geometry that describes the pocket contour. The Geometry Edit dialog box will be displayed.
Click on the Add button in the Multi-Chain field to start the definition of the pocket geometry. The Chains Selection dialog box will be displayed.
Click on the bottom face of the pocket to define the boundaries as the pocket geometry. The face boundaries will be emphasized.
Click on the 
button in the Chains
Selection dialog box; the chains will be generated.

Important: In SolidCAM you always define the outer contour of the pocket first. Closed profiles inside this outer contour are automatically identified as pocket islands. |
Make sure that the outer contour of the pocket geometry is marked as 1 and the internal contour is marked as 2.
Close the Geometry Edit
