Define the Stock model. The Stock model is the material that is placed on the machine before you start machining the part.
Click on the Define button in the Stock model area. More...
The Stock model dialog box is displayed.
Choose the 2D Boundary option and click on the Define button to select the stock geometry. The Geometry Edit dialog box is displayed.
Select the edge of the model as shown.
Select the Auto-Constant Z option in the Auto Select section of the Geometry Edit dialog box.
The confirmation dialog box is displayed.
Confirm the selected geometry by clicking on the Yes button.
The chain icon is displayed in the Geometry Edit dialog box. Confirm the Geometry Edit dialog box by clicking on the Finish button.
Confirm the Stock model dialog box with the OK button. The Wire Cut Part data dialog box is displayed again.
Since you have entered all the necessary data for the Part, close the Wire Cut Part data dialog box with the Save & Exit button.
