In the part shown in the drawing below, you will be required to perform different turning actions to obtain the finished manufactured part. This tutorial will demonstrate how to do this step by step.
| Every manufacturing project in SOLIDCAM2000 must contain the following data: PART: The Part defines the general data of the workpiece. This includes the drawing name, the home position, tools options, CNC-controller etc... GEOMETRY: By selecting Curves, Surfaces or Solids, define WHAT and WHERE you are going to machine. JOB: A Job is a single machining operation in SOLIDCAM2000. In the Job Technology, Tool parameters and Strategies are defined, in short – HOW you want to machine. |
In this tutorial, all the different Jobs available in SOLIDCAM2000 turning module will be used i.e., drilling, turning, threading and grooving.
